Promoting transformation through evaluation, empowering with technological innovation. On September 28, the China Food and Packaging Machinery Industry Association organized a technological achievement evaluation meeting at Jiangsu Kaiyi Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd., to evaluate two achievements: "Intelligent and Efficient Crushing and Thawing Technology and Equipment for Barrel-Packed Frozen Fruit and Vegetable Juice" and "Intelligent, Precise, Energy-Saving and Environmentally Friendly Hot Air Drying Technology and Equipment." The meeting invited Chen Jian, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, Director of the Academic Committee of Jiangnan University and Professor of the Future Food Science Center, to serve as chairman of the evaluation committee; Chu Yufeng, Researcher, former Chairman of the China Food and Packaging Machinery Industry Association and Director of its Expert Committee, and Wang Zhe, Researcher and Chairman of the Brewing Food Branch of the Chinese Institute of Food Science and Technology, to serve as vice chairmen; and industry experts from various units formed the evaluation committee, including Liao Xiaojun, Dean of the College of Food Science and Nutritional Engineering of China Agricultural University, and Professor Gao Yanxiang; Zhu Fengtao, Chief Expert of the Jinan Fruit Research Institute of the All China Federation of Supply and Marketing Cooperatives, Taishan Industry Leading Talent and Researcher; Dong Hailong, Chief Engineer and Deputy General Manager of Jiangsu Newamstar Packaging Machinery Co., Ltd.; Shan Dan, General Manager of Chuangxin Co., Ltd.; and Ding Renting, General Manager of Qingdao Huakun Food Group Co., Ltd. Through document verification, technical inquiry and collective deliberation, the participating experts conducted a comprehensive and rigorous evaluation and appraisal of the projects' technological innovation points, process advancement and industrialization application value. The evaluation committee unanimously agreed that the two achievements precisely target industry pain points, integrate technologies such as intelligent perception, precise regulation and energy-saving optimization, break through traditional processing bottlenecks, and form safe, efficient, energy-saving, low-carbon, domestically produced complete solutions that can be promoted at scale, with the overall technology reaching the domestically leading and internationally advanced level. Among them, "Intelligent and Efficient Crushing and Thawing Technology and Equipment for Barrel-Packed Frozen Fruit and Vegetable Juice" overcomes industry challenges such as long thawing time, large nutrient loss and high energy consumption, achieving the unity of efficient thawing and retention of nutrition and flavor; "Intelligent, Precise, Energy-Saving and Environmentally Friendly Hot Air Drying Technology and Equipment" innovatively adopts multi-stage precise drying, online monitoring and regulation and other technologies, improving the quality of dried products and aligning with the "dual carbon" strategy. The successful passing of this achievement evaluation not only constitutes authoritative recognition of the technological innovation capability of the R&D team of Jiangsu Kaiyi Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd., but also provides an authoritative basis for the industrialization landing, market promotion, in-depth industry-university-research cooperation and standard drafting of the technologies, further consolidating the foundation for independent innovation of China's core equipment for deep processing of fruits and vegetables, marking an important breakthrough for China in the fields of intelligence and energy conservation of fruit and vegetable deep processing equipment.
