This high-barrier roll film is built for coffee and tea packaging where light, oxygen and moisture are the main causes of staling. The metallised or aluminium foil layer sits in the middle of the laminate and cuts light transmission to almost zero, while the PET outer layer protects the printed surface and the inner PE layer provides a reliable heat seal on form-fill-seal equipment.
The film runs on automatic packaging machines as a full roll: width is slit to your machine and pouch format, thickness is typically 60–120 µm, and roll diameter and core are made to your machine. Rotogravure printing in 1–8 colours allows the shelf-facing design, origin and brewing information to be printed in one pass without labels.
We adjust barrier level, structure, thickness and width to the shelf life your product needs, and can add a degassing valve or zipper when the film is used for valve pouches and stand-up pouches. Kody Packaging produces the film in Dongguan, Guangdong, with lamination, slitting and rewinding carried out in sequence and samples supplied before mass production.
