The liner and outer carton together form the bag-in-box construction: liquid fills the inner bag while the carton carries the load and protects the pack, so in transport and stacking the bag's mechanical load is taken by the box and the liner only has to hold the static head of liquid, which keeps deformation manageable at larger fills. The bag takes the carton's shape when full and still stands on its own once removed.
Dispensing uses a butterfly valve, which pours on a press and stops on release, so liquid is drawn without tipping the bag and with less air drawn back in, helping the remainder keep its quality. The liner is a metallised lamination, whose metal layer blocks light and adds a degree of barrier, suiting liquids sensitive to light or stored longer; the joint between valve and bag is the critical point for sealing.
Fill volume, valve diameter and liner film are matched to the filling line and carton format, and the outer carton can be supplied as a printed box. It is worth confirming valve orientation and connector type against the filling equipment first, then running fill and drop tests to verify that the seal and valve do not weep under transport conditions, with MOQ and lead time set by the final specification.
