A compact back-seal flat pouch that takes up little space and fills quickly, for powder, granule and small liquid sample packing.
| Pouch type | Back-seal flat pouch |
|---|---|
| Film structure | Clear / metallised / pure foil |
| Printing | Full-face colour print, back seal |
| Machine | Vertical form-fill-seal machine |
| Applications | Powder, granule, tea, liquid samples |
The back-seal pouch is one of the basic soft-pack formats: film is formed into a tube with a back seal, then heat-sealed top and bottom into a flat pillow-shaped sachet. It occupies little volume, runs fast in multi-lane filling, and uses less film than most alternatives, which suits high-volume packing of powders, granules, tea and small liquid samples. The bag body can be specified as clear laminate, metallised or pure foil: formats that need light and oxygen protection use foil or metallised structures to extend shelf life, while products that should be seen use a clear structure. The surface can be printed in colour to your design, with the seal on the back leaving a full presentation face on the front. Pouch size, film thickness, seal width and tear notch are all customisable and can be matched to vertical form-fill-seal machines.
