This flat pouch has no zipper or handle: the panels are smooth and the opening is a straight edge along the top, so it loads cleanly onto form-fill-seal equipment for automatic bag pick-up, filling and sealing, needing only one cross seal to close. With no rigid components the pouches pack flat, taking less volume in cartons and stacking well in transport.
The lamination is built on aluminium foil, whose layer blocks light, moisture and oxygen, making it suitable for powders and granules that need light protection and moisture control, such as powder blends, instant drink mixes and granular raw materials. The inner layer is a heat-seal film so the pouch closes directly by heat, with seal strength and tightness governed by sealing temperature, pressure and dwell time, set to suit the filling line.
Supplied plain and unprinted, it can be tried in an existing pouch format for filling and drop testing before artwork is committed. Volume and pouch dimensions can be matched to the filling equipment, and film thickness and barrier grade are selected to the required shelf life, with sampling and MOQ set by the final specification.
