High-Barrier 5L Aluminum Foil Spouted Pouch with Handle for Liquids

This high-barrier, light-blocking foil pouch is designed for liquid packaging. The stand-up structure uses a widened bottom gusset, so the bag stands firmly on the shelf. All four sides are heat-sealed, and the top can be fitted with a spout or screw-cap valve for smooth pouring and repeated opening and closing. A die-cut handle or a handle strip on the upper part makes 5L bags of water, oil or beverages easy to carry with one hand. The aluminum layer blocks light and helps limit oxidation and odour transfer.

Pure aluminum foil acts as the core barrier layer, laminated with PET, NY and PE films to balance stiffness, toughness and heat-seal strength; metallized structures are also available depending on the contents. Surfaces accept 1-8 colour gravure printing with fine detail and consistent colour, plus matt and spot-varnish finishes. Common volumes run from 100ml to 5L, with stand-up, three-side-seal and eight-side-seal formats. Spout diameter, handle position and valve options can all be adjusted to your drawing, and matching roll film can be supplied.

Typical uses include small-molecule mineral water, sparkling water, plant-based drinks, juice concentrate, edible oil, soy sauce and vinegar, detergents and chemical liquids, where light protection and high barrier extend shelf life. The custom process is straightforward: send a sample, artwork or a clear brief on volume and spout, we confirm the structure and printing plan, produce a proof, then move to mass production after approval.
